One question about the vocaloids though; a friend of mine told me that they were androids (fully-robotic). Is that true, or is that description off somewhat?

I've been listening to that Luka song, The WanderLast... Turns out its like the person after everyone disappeared off the planet... and the sequel by Miku "HELLO PLANET" is when Miku tries to look for that person, but found the grave and died, but reunited with him. He gave her a plant pot before he died, and in WanderLast, you see a bunch of flowers.
