you have captured the feeling of almost fear so perfectly - the girl looks both expectant and fearful at the same time.
the light source in this picture really looks as if it is coming from an open doorway, which gives the shot the sense of expectancy - who is out there? what is coming

There is something about this which totally captures me. There is a great innocence in the girl's face and the closeness to her toy, but then the dark tones suggest an eerieness. I like the way the light catches her nose and how she is looking towards it.
