I just sent this pair of devil masks off to a customer. I think they are the best versions I have ever made of this mask. The customer requested black for one mask and I ended up having to add some blue highlighting to make it pop. I just love the result.As always they are made from 2-4 oz leather, formed by hand, painted by hand with acrylic paints, and sealed with and acrylic sealer.

Thanks! This is the first time I have done it with the Wicket and Craig leather and the shape came out much better with the details.

Would you say the wicket leather is better? Is it less expensive. What did you use before? Tandy?

I can get the leather from Wicket and Craig even with shipping for less than I get a hide from Tandy. Also that quality is way better. The wicket leather never has any brands or scars and usually has very few holes so that I can use the whole hide. Plus I can get it cut to any thickness I want for no extra charge, and the thickness is more consistent which is great for what I do. I'm totally sold on them.

You've got me thinking about giving them a try. Tandy's leather has been looking kinda bad lately. I usually like looking at the leather before I buy it but if its top quality, there really is no need to. Thank you very much for the info. I have heard others talk about using thier leather.
