I like both of them. This one is a bit more chaotic thanks to the bit of rotation you added, which is a nice contrast to the very orderly previous one.

thank you - i wanted it to look like one part is under water (the part which is protected from wind an sand) and the outside part which looses the fine shapes due to corrosion
