Why does Death always try to manipulate Life? Good piece of art here, love the colors on it.

What a wonderful tone you've achieved with the lighting and subtle textures here.Β I see the myth characters of Hades and Persephone in this so clearly and its a very lovely interpretation (even if it was not purely intended!)

This isn't bad. I see you've been looking at things like star wars and lowest common denominator anime. If you want to grow as an artist I would suggest careful study of Art Nouveau Art, the Symbolists, and the Pre-Raphaelites. You might want to have a look through Jugend, a popular art magazine that began publication in 1890s. You can find scans of the whole run on-line and it may well come as a revelation to you.

I can see that. It certainly reminds me of Gustav Klimt's "Death and Life" painting.

Nekku thank you so much for the appreciation and for the lovely text you have written to me. It makes me very happy to see that something I have made is interesting in the eyes of other people! I really like this "traditional" feeling too, it is kinda hard to do, I'm still learning, but I really like to try doing it. This piece took me 1 month to be done, but it was very fun and lots of learning.
Nekkuu thanks again, your comment made me smile <3 <3 <3Β
