Well, that's one way to put it. Playstation is something I wanna get into, but my money goes towards my Nintendo consoles first. PS4 looks REALLY cool, but no backwards compatibility. That mainly ruined it for me. I recommend checking out the footage for yourself.

the no backwards compatibility is the stupidest money making machine the franchise has made up. and I've always like PS systems better because I love the controller design (Xbox is too big for my hands and I'm afraid of the wii for chucking it at the tv reasons even with the wriststrap) and I'll probably look it up later when its closer to release date

Wii is far underrated. I recommend Wii U, and all the Wii games don't even give any risk for chucking it at the TV. Not as long as you're holding on and the strap is on well. (I know you mentioned that, but trust me) Lastly, (as I said) the no backwards compatibility thing ruined it for me. Stinks because the system looks good. (btw, I hate Xbox for that reason, too. And no free online)
