This time, no Pin-up. But I feel this commission from french comics convention organisator could still fit in this gallery. At least, it seems that for some, Batman has as much sex appeal as a little covered lady. go figure....
This one was done for a trade as any other drawing in this gallery. I got in exchange the transformers Animated Grimlock voyager size (and I joke about people finding Batman sexy ...) and the amaaaaaazing Adam Hughes's DC covers coffee table book (thanks again Julien !). You can guess that I couldn't stop some influence in my interpretation of the dark knight after reading and admiring this book. This guy rocks ! Sooooo inspiring. Maybe too much ...
I'm pretty happy with the stone rendering (made by blowing the other side of the sheet with a black alcohol marker) but feel the gotham background could have been more detailed or less sketchy. The head of the little bat-blade he's holding touching the side of the moon is not an happy thing too. But with markers, no ctrl+z... :s
All with thin bruch pen and acohol markers on drawing paper. Good to do some thing without photoshop sometime.
