Description
I originaly wanted to draw "Alco-Girl" simply as sort of sexy, sassy, slighly-boyish, beer drinking, female avatar of alcohol consumption. However, during the conceptualization, the idea of a sailor senshi for beer just kinda got stuck in my head. The result is "Alco-Girl as Sailor Beer" done as a faux manga cover. I'll probably do another Alco-Girl piece - one without the sailor-uniform - sometime in the future.

Somewhere along the way, she went from her original personality to a somewhat more clueless girl (partly due to the reference I used, which had that kind of look). didI make the uniform a bit more revealing than the originals from the Sailor Moon series (it's actually kinda closer to the mid-riff baring design from Sailor V, but tighter), the translucent skirt is pure fan-service. I choose pink for her hair since, well I've got a thing for red heads, and pink really did seem to fit the whole clueless bit, plus I didn't want to use the dumb blonde cliche (although I do kinda remember a Sailor w/ pink hair, but rest assured, this isn't her). Since she is the senshi of beer, she wields a (filled) beer stein as well as a bottle opener (w/c would probably be her henshin transformation thingie). How she fights with those, well I figure she just get's her opponents drunk, really, really drunk, to the point where they beat themselves up. Also, you might notice that she's got a little mole under her lip and a small San Miguel Beer tattoo down on her belly. The mole is a litle tribute of mine to one of my friends who is also has a mole under her lip and is a heavy drinker as well. The tattoo is the inignia of San Miguel Beer, best beer in the world, boo-yeah!
