Details are cool and very good for mecha stuff. Without your beautiful details, it wouldn't be as epic. Keep it up.... but so now it's not a blue eyes white dragon, it's... it's a spider bird dragon snake machine weapon. idek.
And seriously. WHERE'S ISPOLIN?! Here's Eli getting his ass half handed to him and in a super deadly situation and Ispolin isn't doing shit. >.< Lazy, commanding prude. XDD
In other news, LOVE the shot of Eli. Very serious.

He's a potential drama point with space for more interaction and character growth. Of course I care! XD

Haha, yes, too much detail does overdo the piece. I'm glad I'm not pushing it to that point though. Thanks!

I think the shading and hatching works fine.

No, not unless it doesn't sit well or agree with your other panels. There isn't such thing as too detailed.

That is true. I have given that exact same advice before: someone wanted to use a photo on top of a drawing (mine, heh heh). Unfortunately, the drawing was supposed to be the center of focus, and always photos > reasonably quick drawings in detail. In fact, I'll see if he'll email it to me, and I'll post it...........
