My family recently came back from Japan, after living in Wakayama for a year.They took something like 15,000 photographs, so I went a bit crazy and edited a bunch of them to look as if they were little models. I like how this one came out!

I just blurred the top and bottom of the photo in Photoshop

No problem! It also helps if your photos are from a high angle (cus it looks like you're looking down on a model)

That's crazy, I was gonna ask, "Where did you get that model?!" but um ya. Looks awesome. And all you have to do is blur? nothing else? I should get photoshop for my birthday.

Heh heh yeah, basically you're emulating taking a photo of a model. You'll often notice in model photography that the camera is so close that it can only focus on objects that are a very precise distance from it. So as long as you try to make sure that the unblurred section is about the same distance from the camera it should look good, though using photos taken from a high angle also helps to sell the effect...
