I tried to grasp the sunset hour and hold the sun at mountain's edge, to savor more the loveliness of delicate light on field and hedge. So sweet the final fleeting moment, the subtle radiance it throws, the way it touches a child's face like a soft angelic halo glows. And now it's gone, the moment lost...• Full-view recommended;

oh my goodness hun, this has got to be the best picture of sunsets ive seen ever.
i love the redness and yellows. and then there is stil the darkness almost like a border.
i love how you can see the bridge in the back.
and the clouds are even so beautiful with their blackness.

Wow, that is an exquisite photograph of something I almost always pursue when I draw or photograph the land about me, that copper, golden sun that somehow is ever present in those transient, ephemeral moments so vastly beyond what any words can say. Though one can never fully capture the majesty of such times tinged with the subtle glories of the eternal, you did well both in picture and in word.
