Description
The first thing he wanted to do when he got back from saving the world was to take her to this small beach on Long Island. It was just outside the protection of camp, but just inside the range of the mist. It was only about half a mile wide, but it was hidden and unpopulated. There was no garbage, no people, no anything. For that night it was just the two of them.

There were a lot of similarities between Jason and Reyna, Leo noticed as he made a fire for the two of them once the sun had set. The way they carried themselves, the way they sat, the way they talked. It was all very different for the Greeks. It seemed kind of wondrous that Leo had gotten her to go out with him at all. He was a goofball and she was a Roman. (But who's to say Romans can't have a sense of humor?)

He sat down next to her on the towel, she pulled her hoodie closer to her body and moved, just slightly, closer to Leo.

"I'm glad you're back." She told him. he reached around her back and pulled her hair from it's braid.

"I'm glad you waited for me." He said it as though he was joking, but he had never been more serious about something in his life. Reyna could have any guy she wanted. Hell, she didn't even need a guy. Leo sometimes wondered why she even bothered with him.

She reached around and gathered her hair, pulling to one side and letting it fall loosely over her shoulder. "of corse I would wait for you, I knew you would come back."

"And if I didn't?" He asked playfully.

"Then I'd go to where ever you were and drag you back." She looked at him and smirked. Gods, he loved it when she made that face.

He leaned down and kissed her, tangling his hand in her hair. She kissed back, putting one hard on the back of his neck. The two moved closer.

There is a saying "When in Rome, do as the Romans do." Well, Leo wasn't in Rome, but that didn't stop him from carpe-ing the fuck out of that diem.
