Description
This is Miyabi, a character from my online manga "The Way to Your Heart." I've used a variation of this piece for the new layout of my site. ^_^This was inspired by one of my favorite photoshoots of Kagrra, and by BUCK-TICK's PV "Romance." Also, after being in Japan I really wanted to do something to illustrate the simple beauties of that country. I chose to focus on sakura, katana, yukata, and water.
I'd imagine this being part of a photoshoot for Orochi, so the other band members would have similar photos taken of them. Will I draw the other members of Orochi in a setting like this? ^o^;; I... can't promise anything.
Anyway, I'm so proud of this piece!!!! I hope everyone else likes it too!!!

I think you captured Japan very well. This reminds me of something I saw in Kyoto. A serene peace with subtle but flowing cultural beauty. The yukata is very simple but I think it's handsome and draws out Miyabi's eyes and hair. Speaking of the eyes, the coloring here is deep and the lips even are breathtaking. I like his bandaged arm too.
But, unless he's holding the katana, I would think it would face the other way (or maybe I don't know anything).
His hair is especially impressive.

Wow, this is a REALLY beautiful piece you've got here! This is just so................ amazing! Miyabi's eyes are so intense and full of emotions! You are a real pro! I read your entire manga (I found it at around 11 pm on a night I had so much homework to do and I just couldn't stop till I had read it all!!) For once, it's a new kind of story, original, cute and funny (Eizo-kun is so crazy about Orochi, but aren't we all the same, us fangirls?!? ) Anyway, all this blabla to tell you that I think this picture of Miyabi is simply stunning! Continue your wonderful work, you have a great future in the "manga business", it makes no doubt when we see your talent! I have just one question though: when you draw a page of TWTYH, what program do you use for all the effects? (**favs it**)
