Another character I felt the sudden urge to acknowledge since it's been quite a while (if... I've ever drawn her on her own without Gold...) and... it also kinda helps that I'm currently in a Role Play using her and Gold
Once again, I messed up the position on multiple things when compared to the image I was drawing from... and yet, I'm still pretty happy with this one. Part of me is actually tempted to make a second shirt with this so I'll have one to match my Gold shirt
Pokemon and all of its creatures/characters, including Crystal, are (c) Satoshi Tajiri, Nintendo, Game Freak and all other respective owners may have missed/not be aware of. The Pokemon Adventures Manga was writen by Hidenori Kusaka and published by ViZ media. I do not own the character in any way, shape or form, I am just a fan!

I prefer her in original but that's not the point (I don't hate the outfit it just looks better on Kotone). The point is other then her pinkie... this. Is. Perfect.

Why am I the only one who likes her HG/SS clothes? Well... just as long as you're not one of those people who will sit there and try to argue that it's not really Crystal anymore (in the manga) that's fine.
And what do you mean the pinkie? *looks again* Oooh.... yeah, it looked weird in the original, too. I felt like it should be curled up more tightly.
Eh? ..... Oh that Role Play. I actually assumed it to have been replaced completely by the Digimon one, and therefore dead in the water, since you said you're more comfortable with an OC anyway. But I'd gladly pick it up again if you're still interested. Or.... you could just as easily join the "World Tournament" Role Play we've got going on on the Forum; it would be the best of both worlds for you: You could use an OC if you wanted and the story would, eventually, go in the same-ish direction.
Truth be told, the Role Play I was referring to in the description here is with a completely different person and it's JUST the Johto trio.

No, I don't like the HG/SS clothing on Crystal. (Prepare the the least manliest thing I ever said) Her hair does not go with go with that outfit. (I feel unmanly... must read more Jojo's Bizarre Adventure to level myself out! XD) The manga? ... Shit! I'm so far behind! T~T I haven't even finished DPP! O.O Although I hate DPP... so boring...Β

As for that RP... it sounds too stressful. I'm already so slow with the Digimon RP. Adding on a second one with multiple people? No thanks. I do have a Pokemon RP character I never used. God... even those were good times. Sorry, just feeling nostalgic about back when I thought I had a future in art...

How does her hair not go with the outfit? It looks just fine to me; a girl... a girl who has been told she is most like Rarity (though... I'm assuming you know nothing of My Little Pony, but she's a "Fashionista")
I'm only as far behind as I am because there was such a gap between the Gold/Silver/Crystal arc and the Ruby/Sapphire arc being released. (we're talking, SO long I was very afraid they were just going to deem it "irrelevant to the kids" and not do it) In either case, my next volume is the final part of Ruby/Sapphire and the first volume of FireRed/LeafGreen is slated for release July 1st.
Alright, if you really feel that way we can just forget it and stick with the Digimon one.

The overalls are the only blue part of her clothes. Her red shirt and shoes, white hat and knee-high stockings (both are also Β trimmed with red) contrast it nicely. And I figured that you would be at least familiar with... the current My Little Pony from its sheer popularity (Though, being an early 90's girl, Β It would have been a "nostalgia" thing for me, even if it hadn't become so popular) but I just figured "better safe than sorry".
Why would I be mad? I'm having fun with the Digimon one, and it's not like we've stopped Role Playing completely, we just replaced the one with another.
Even if I do, that's not exactly a substitute for a lack of raw talent.

I've bought the two books that are out now, but I'm gonna wait on reading the HeartGold/SoulSilver arc until I'm fully caught up with the current print, so I'lll be starting FireRed/LeafGreen with the next volume.

That... is actually quite disheartening if you've lost interest, because it was actually the manga that revived my faith in the franchise. I told myself I would still and always love the games, but I lost track of the anime around the "Advanced Generation" so I was slowly trying to ween myself from it.... then I discovered Pokemon Advantures and picked up the anime again like a bad habit once Diamond and Pearl began.

I actually don't think I could really say who my favorite of the female DexHolders is, I like pretty much all of the girls. Gold is my favorite o the guys, though, followed closely by Black.
