Usually siblings get along better as they get older because they're typically more mature. (Not always though)

I'm sorry to hear that. Well my parents were born when their parents were like your age or like 20ies and I still have one great grandma I think. ^^ sorry, I'm braging again. (GAAAA!)

Yeah, it sucks. One of my grandmas died of cancer and the other died from congestive heart failure.
I always thought the 20s were too soon to have kids. Then again, I don't really want any. But back in the day it was common to have kids at early ages.
It's okay to brag a little. You are lucky.

Yep. the worst thing is that one of them lived far away from us so I hadn't seen her in years...and then she died and it was too late. But everything happens for a reason.
My mom was in her early 20s when she had me. Talk about young mothers. ^^

Teenage years are definitely too early to have kids. But i think the early 20s are too young too (that's just me though). I believe in chasing your own dreams before having to live for a kid. My mom had me at 21.

I think your mom was wiser than mine in that aspect, even though sometimes having kids early could work. It's just that she never went to college and so it was hard to provide for me and my sister. But we managed.

I'm over it. I was only 9 and she was 7. We were pretty young. But I still think of her every so often.

Yeah, she should have. She came from a strict family that made her believe that she'd never amount to anything, so she never thought she had a chance in college. She felt she was only good for having kids. Now she sees that that was never true.
