Riding bean with Rally Vincent and Minnie-May Hopkins (GunSmith Cats ).

Riding bean appeared in GunSmith Cats (again by Kenichi Sonoda), this was my visualisation of them both, using the pre-"sleeked-up" design of Bean (though actually he really needed an updated design, hahah!)

This is a proper collage of inks (via dip-pen) and watercolours, cut out and glued onto a background of ripped up made-up articles I printed myself/photocopied, very random and multimedia.

I sent this pic off to Dark Horse publishing and they printed it in glorious black and white in the very last issue of the first part run, along with my incredibly naiive letter asking why does the series have to keep being published under the header of "mature readers"! At 17YO I was getting pissed off with this because it was still the whole "ew you watch 'manga' you're a pervert" era, and even though GSC is pretty ecchi, this sort of cover-warning was used on previous manga titles that were generally quite innocent compared to others (including the future issues of GSC!). Oh I just should have shut up. xD But anyways yes, it was great to see my pic in print across the ocean! <3 Thank you Dark Horse!
