This is what I'm going to submit to this year's Rodeo Art contest. Since it's a requirement to participate in it in my art class I decided to start it as my first project of the year.I didn't want to do a boring photorealism pencil drawing like everyone does for this contest, instead I decided to apply my colorful mixed media style to a standard Rodeo Art cow skull. I made the bacground a cut out style black to emphasize the the whites and colors of the skull. If you look closely the post has blues and pinks too.
Hopefully this piece will go to state!

Edit: This piece won Best of Show in Pearland, and went to the rodeo. It didn't get into auction, so I didn't get any monetary rewards, but it got the highest award in my town so that means a lot to me
