My sister and I just had our photo shoot with real photographers yesterday, and here's the first photo they gave us. I'm really happy with our costumes and I can't wait for Anime Matsuri this weekend. So look out for a moogle and a heartless in Houston this Saturday!

I had to get my wings custom made >.< I tried to make them but that didn't work out so well. So I found someone who makes various wings for Renaissance Festivals, including purple bat wings, they were perfect! It looks like she made the outline with wire and stretched pantyhose over the shape, then spray painted them with purple and added glitter on the back. I've known how to make wings like that, but it's much harder than it sounds like XD mostly the wire part. I've only made them once for some fairy costumes but they were pretty basic shaped, not with weird angles like a bat wing.

oh wow...I thought it was out of sheet foam or something. yeah...that doesn't sounds so easy to make...I would probably end up ripping the pantyhose.

Yes, they are awesome. They aren't that uncomfortable either. You can buy some relatively cheap ones wholesale from china
