Perler & Hama bead version of the "Naga" monster from Final Fantasy 3 J, originally for the NES and now available for the Nintendo DS.This picture washed out some of the colors somewhat, even though it was taken outside in natural lighting. It may have made a difference that I took it close to sunset, rather than during prime optimal blue-sky light...
Anyway one color used that is by Hama is "Claret," for the hair.

It's very relaxing. You could try putting together a small one and see what I mean. Kind of like those Zen Sand Drawings the monks make & then destroy.

Claret is a good color, a kind of ruby... or reddish purple... much better than perler's raspberry... great job though...
