Bowser Jr. has grown to be my main in Smash 4. While he could have been made as a weak joke clone of his dad Bowser, the Koopa Clown Car helped to create a fighting style that is interesting and unique. The car does most of the attacking while Jr. himself does so in his Pummel, Up Air, and latter half of the Up B. All of Jr.'s attacks have disjointed hitboxes and is agile for a heavyweight, all of which give him a lot of options. The drawbacks to Jr. are that a lot of his attacks have long ending lag, his grab is very slow, and most of his throws are mediocre. He is in the E tier.One of Jr.'s versatile moves is the Side B, which has him drive the Clown Car forward. It can be jump canceled for combos and mix-ups, and pressing in the opposite direction or the attack/special button will have him do a doughnut that deals higher damage and knockback than if he just ran into the opponent. The Side B is also handy for getting back on stage in combination with the Up B, but caution is required since Jr. will go slightly backward during the move's startup.
Serving up doughnuts to opponents is one of the fun things I love doing when playing Bowser Jr. That, and knocking opponents off-stage with the Up B hammer. He's so CUTE!
