Rei Igarashi voiced Mira Kagami in Konami's popular (in Japan) dating sim, Tokimeki Memorial. Mira is one of the many love interests in the game, being a prideful beauty who would love a guy whose looks match up with her expectations. As such, one must have a high Appearance stat to woo her. However, her haughtiness turns out to be a facade; in junior high, many boys dumped her for not being attractive enough. Out of revenge, she worked very hard on her appearance so that she allures boys, toy with their emotions for a while, and then dump them. It was fun at first, but all she really wanted was someone who would love her for the real her, and finally encourage her to be herself. She's also not actually wealthy and has to take care of her six brothers, which is why she's not part of any clubs, sometimes cancels dates, and knows how to sew.

Igarashi is also the Japanese voice for Rose Quartz, another beautiful, multi-faceted character in an idealistic series about love. Rose Quartz was the founder of the Crystal Gems, a group of rebel Gems dedicated to defending the Earth and all its living things. She was an all-loving heroine who made a name for herself as she fought against the injustice of Homeworld. As it is revealed, Rose was naive and still had a lot to learn about the world, and part of it stemmed from the inherently static nature of a Gem. She proved to be more than what others thought they knew about her, that a Gem like her can grow and change physically and emotionally, no different from the humans that she loved. Especially when she turned out to be none other than Pink Diamond.

Other roles Igarashi played are Mistress Centipede in Inuyasha and Hawkgirl in the Japanese dub of Justice League.
