Why were you not willing?
I haven’t asked you for much,
Yet you still couldn’t tell me your feelings –
Even when it came down to losing me.
You were so cold;
So callus…
Did you really care that little?
Does it give you joy to see me writhe in pain?
I’ve never understood why you do and say the things you do,
But now I realize that no matter what the reason, it was never right.
I would give anything to be in your arms; give anything to see you, just once.
Would the look in your eyes contradict the words you’ve said?
That’s my deepest wish.
But that wish is one that shall never come true now – maybe it never had a chance to begin with.
I need a man who will make me feel loved, and you weren’t even willing to try.

I can't really sympathize since it hasn't happened to me yet...hopefully never lol... but I feel like if that were to happen to me I think I'd know how I/you feel?
