I was hoping to actually draw something for the first anniversary of Kirby Star Allies, but couldn't come up with anything in time for that. That didn't stop me for trying my hand at drawing something for the 23rd anniversary of Kirby Super Star, thus this was made in honor of the game. More specifically, the game mode Milky Way Wishes and one of my favorite final bosses, Marx.This is actually part of a bigger project I'm working on basically remaking this old drawing piece by piece. I had the linework for this done for quite a while, but didn't got around to coloring it until today.
I honestly liked how this turned out in the end! The colors and shading fitted pretty well with the space environment and the final touch of adding glow to Marx's wings just made it even better!
Edit: So I discovered this website called Waifu2x which basically resizes the image without any blur or pixelization and used it on this drawing to make the size a little bit bigger for you to view. Check it out if you like!
