On my tumblr i have thisbe picture with a story chapter and it will take me a bit to find said chapter but what i do remember is.

Mesprite or Sprit as her nickname came from an ultra wormhole when Emmet was looking at all possibilities on his brothers dissapearance which lead him to Alola to learn about wormholes ,Sprit appeared after sensing his strong desire to find Ingo and she is a pokémon of emotions she found herself intrigued by Emmet and offered him help.
