...but two of them aren't holding anything?
That's because there's no model for it yet.... the Brella family. Rezzie and Niola, the ones not holding anything would have these as their mains.

If Octos become playable (and thus in my story, eligible to Turf) they'd main these weapons that they're holding.
Arie: Splatlings, mainly mini-to-mid ones.
Violette: Brushes
Nellie: Splatlings, mainly mid-to-heavy ones.
Ederie: Chargers
Piri: Shooters, of the rapid-fire Splattershot kind.
Rezzie: Brellas.
Inamine: Sloshers, particularly Tri-Sloshers (they're green!)
Dorrie: Rollers, the Carbon type
Siriela: Dualies, the normal types.
Niola: Brellas.
Ocelina: Brushes.
Cyanala: Shooters, of the fast-moving variety.
Pippie: Luna Blasters. Specifically Lunas.

why's this? Couldn't you just make them turf?
Octolings can't fight in Turf Wars in Splatoon, so it is the same way in my story. All of the Octos I have are on a waiting timer, they want to go Turf badly, and the moment they become playable, that's when I lift the allowance.
