How I came up with her: Simple, one of the tutorial squids (this is my name for the squids that appear if your game is offline, you can't order anything from them, they have generic names and typically have low level weapons and gear. Splatoon 1 you could only see them when you first start the game exiting the tutorial section, Splatoon 2 your game MUST be offline. In Splatoon 2, they've changed since version 1.0, however I got comparison screenshots) while I was going through who should end up being characters, one of them became Monica. Monica was rather interesting-looking, so I made her the most kind, and as the story ocntinued, she was the catalyst for the other two characters. Demika would remain an enemy.

Her story: She was Demika's sidekick for a while alongside Chabbu and her friend Patrima. But after a while, she got sick of hanging around Demika and left her. This was after she noticed Chabbu's sibling and her friends having fun and hated causing them so much trouble. She was sad to leave Patrima, as they'd gotten so close, but later on, Patrima followed suit and the two rejoiced and now focus on wiping Demika off the popularity map.
