How did I come up with him: Messing in photoshop with colour and skin ideas. Name and gear came later, gear from lesser-used combinations. His name was specifically based off the word oval, in reference to the 'fro.

His story: Belujoe and Evercya were close friends. But he had no one else, many would snigger at his afro, though not the others's? Maybe it was the colour.

He thought nothing of abiding by Octavio's rule until he was exposed to the Inkantation, and decided to believe his friends when they suggested to run to the surface.

When he got there though, after finding out his friends had met some Inklings, he continued to get odd looks, though most Octolings with the afro did, so he wondered why.

He then found Marc, and continues to hang around him and his crew.
