How did I come up with him: Photoshopping the original picture for hair and skin, gear was picked from lesser-used combinations.

His story: He'd researched about a particular Inkling shortly after the Calamari Inkantation had been engraved into his soul, a boy named Dean who had no info on him whatsoever beyond that he was in Turf Wars. He felt curious about this, but didn't think too much of it.

This was while he was finding directions to the surface.

He joined the status quo, bought some gear for himself and as he was playing with his phone an Inkling, actually Dean, sat down near him. Dean was looking quite down, had just been on a losing streak and Vanirro decided to start conversation. Vanirro was extremely embarrassed, but the two became pretty good.

He later found out about Dean's history and it all made sense, especially since he seemed like a nobody.

The two hang out often now.
