I swear, if the writers don't pick up this fan service and make SOME kind of a Doctor Who joke in the future, I'll be shocked.

Or at least give another doctor a speaking role with a british accent. But they're probably content with just making the doctors as background ponies and an easter egg for Who fans to find.

Now that they know about the Doctor Whooves fandom, yes, yes they are. As if 3 of them in the same episode in the same scenes didn't scream it.XD

Its a good little easter egg hunt.XD
Strangely, I haven't seen the original Doctor Whooves anywhere since the new season started. Maybe I've just not bee looking hard enough, or he truely did regenerate into 11.XD

That's the other pony I mentioned, but I don't think he resembles any of the doctors. Plus he only showed up once in the episode some distance into the background, so its hard to clearly see his cutie mark unless you have a high quality vid and pause it just right and zoom in, so I'm just writting him off as a truely random pony.
Don't forget, The first Doctor Whooves(10th) was just a random background pony until fans pointed him out and the designers decided to adapt the fan name to him. So that cutie mark was random too and understandable to be on a pony that in no way was even intended to look like the doctor. Especially that early on when they just started recognizing the fanbase.

... she has a wonky eye and she has, pulled the plug in a apple barle, snuck into a chicken coop, droped an anvil piano and something else on twilight went north to get southern birds and west the year before that XD, but they didnt just make her seen like a ditz... they made her personality a sweet one LOL
yeah river song that was a big twist when i saw that... i thought that something was off with her, i asumed she killed the doctor but i never thought that she would be the offspring of Amy the girl who waited and Rory the roman that was amazing... i will be sad when she leaves to see David Tennant

Pinksneasel In reply to niloc1 [2011-12-06 22:58:07 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, she is canonly ditzy. I just don't see the Doc hanging around someone like her. But I am being close minded on it, since even if she's a little clumsy with some things and has a poor sense of direction, she can still be surprisingly clever in other small ways and really sweet which the doc needs.
But sans River Song, I don't see the doc settling down with anyone. Even Rose though he sorta did, but it was his chaotic clone that would only have one life left. If he were stuck as a normal human/pony, then he would because he could, like he wanted to as John Smith.
And I loved the River twist. The second time they met and she was revealed to be in prison, I suspected it was for killing the doc, or trying to. But her being part timelord from being concieved on the tardis was the biggest twist for me, and when I really started to give the pairing my full support. I figure he couldn't or wouldn't marry a human(since they probably wouldn't be able to have kids) but as soon as the timelord side of her poped up, I got excited.XD

yeah Amy was a perfect match for that, donna was just a fun person to be with, Rose... i didnt mind her, she isnt my favorite partner in Doctor who, Martha was awsome aswell, and that Captin Jack Harknes MAN HE WAS AWSOME CHARACTER, anyways Derpy is a great partner for the Doctor
yeah the offspring part you might be right... but river started out as a human + timelord sort of, they are humanoid... when the truth came out i was all like overly excited that i couldnt say anything like "oh my god" under my breath hard to explaine, i love the poem that they recited Demons run... plus that whole "i hope my old man didnt see that," River song, i cant believe i missed that
who are your favorite enemys of the doctor
mine: clock work robots, Cyberman, Dalecks (i cant spell their name), Vasda Narada, Silence (speaking of them that one chick with an eye patch, i didnt think it was jus a simple transfer brain waves so they remember the silence stuff, i was thinking more of the lines of sacrificed her eye so she can always see them ya know take out the eye wire it up so it can see one of the silences and transfers into her brain) weeping angels

I kinda ruined Doc/Amy in my head just before I started actually watching the show. A friend here livestreamed the 11th Hour for us for new Who fans, and I joked around that the Doc was kinda Pedo for offering to take a little girl out with him to travel the stars. But then Amy grew up so it was more ok, but you know how Amy was all over the Doc those first few days.XD
Rose was sweet, but I was sad she still had to go over to the altnate universe when Micky got to come back and stay. Martha was my favorite, but I was constantly heartbroken theat she only seemed to be the Doc's rebound girl. She was so right in saying that she loved him so much but he hardly gave her a second glance. Just didn't feel more then friendship for her comming from him, but she got him through that hard time and kept him sane.
And I was pissed that Jack never kissed the 10th Doc! That would have made my background forever!XD
I love everything about River.XD And even though it was never mentioned in her first(and last) appearence, I really do hope that her and the doc are able to have kids. Other then the Master, River and Jenny(unknown to him) he's the only timelord left and I'm sure people would hate them to go extinct.
And I gotta say Daleks(that's how). They are just so presistant and I love their dialogue and the way they talk. And how the Doc reacts to them is just so chaotic, from wanting to run screaming, to mercilessly torturing them, to wanting to give himself up to them to have them finish him off. Its like if he can't kill them, he wants to be killed by them since he fails to get rid of them permanently and he killed off his entire race in vain. Whenever you see them you see just how much the Time War hurt him and how much he truely wants to die, even if he has to take them down with him.
And I freaked the first time I saw the Silence(the greys, not really the group). As soon as I saw that alien in a suit, I couldn't stop shouting "SLENDERMAN!!!!"XD

Is there a giant crack in your wall? Cuz I think my fangirl squel just shattered the universe.XD
I can't wait to see if they bring Jenny back. I mean, they have too since they had her revive at the end of the episode. If she's never gonna show up again, why not just have her stay dead? And I'd love to see how River reacts to this and for the Doc to explain to her that he's Jenny's mother/dad/parent/thing.XD
Yeah, the deep past for the doc is why I love him so much. Especially with Tennant, since he just showed a wide range of emotions so well and gave life to it. 11 is cool, but he seems more restrained with his emotions, or just too happy/funny most of the time. But he did kinda slip back into 9th's personality when he saw those Daleks with Winston Churchill, which he really shouldn't have done since he ended up playing into their hand.

Actually, sorry for butting in on your discussion, I think they did show Jenny with the 11th. I think it was that episode on Demon's Run, I'm pretty she was pretending to be one of the enemy so that she could see the Doctor again. And I think she was killed during that battle with the headless monks.

I think I know the girl you mentioned, but it wasn't Jenny. It was this kinda indian looking girl and she said she was from the Forest tribe since the prayer cloth she made for Amy was in the language of the forest. And she became a soldier in order to meet the doctor again since River Song explained in the language of the forest tribe, Doctor means Warrior, so she thought se'd meet him in battle. And when she tells the doctor who she is, he doesn't remember her so I guess that means he hasn't met her himself yet. If it were Jenny She would have called him dad or something

Yes she is. And that's not all! The actress who plays Jenny(who is as you know the Doctor's daughter) is actually the daughter of the actor who played the 5th doctor! So the actual daughter of a Doctor played the daughter of the Doctor, then Married that Doctor and had a daughter with that Doctor.
Mind blown yet?

But she's just so small and petite next to Tennant, and he just looks so big and hunky in comparison.X3

Yeah. I know there was next to nothing he could do but fall on the impossible hope that the Daleks would just turn around and go find a home somewhere else and never attack anything again, or just kill them. There was no space or oppurtunity to do anything else, but its just how easily his clone chose genocide that shocked me.
And then his clone gets the reward of settling down with the girl he fell in love with simply because he was half human and he wanted to get rid of him after the genocide.

well like you said, the doctor isnt one to settle down, he was the wandering god, able to preform the imposible one step at a time, comeing and going in his wonderful blue box, but who knows, he is afraid to feel the pain when he sees Rose die while he still has 3 more lives to live... (at that time a time lords life span is 13 lives, 13 regenerations)
actualy i think that is a wonderful love story, the fan fic i told you about an anthro (keidran) in that world has a lifespan up to 25 years max... a quarter of a life time for a human and only 13 years to spend with the one he loves... i just find this love tragedy simply... beautiful
anyways, anyone can fear that, besides i think that his love for her to give her a piece of him that can actualy be with her to death is quite kind for him
ps i love the doctors SteamPunk TARDIS

He's able to do so much, yet he's so easily captured at times that you remember he's just a mad man in a box. But a brilliant man at that.
And that would be unbearable to see her grow old and die. Kinda like how he felt with Madam de Pompourdor. He wanted to run away with her and bring her with him, but got hit hard by the cold fact of her frail motality. And he just has to move on and it hurts him.
Tragedies like that just add such depth to stories...
And it is good he was able to do at least that. The closest he could do to being with her her whole life, free from the burden of outliving her. Even if it wasn't him him, it was still kinda him. Like with John Smith and the life he saw he could have with that other woman.
