This, is The Last Autobot
One of Primus's first creations. His job? Specifically to take over when Primus Dies. He was one of the first and he will be the last.
He has total control over all of Cybertron. Doesn't matter which faction holds it, he is the one that keeps Cybertron itself alive.
When the transformers abandon Cybertron becuase it's tearing itself apart during Primus's death, The Last Autobot soothes the planet and helps the planet re-form itself to keep it's self alive without the Cybertronian God powering it.
This guy actually Exists! though... REALLY far back in peoples memories
The only drawings of him I could find were the ones from the OLD AS DIRT Marvel comic.... so I decided to give the Mech a facelift
HE IS PRETTY NOW.

I've been thinking about my own design for him,the story for series he'll be in is this post decepticon victory setting. Fifty years after the Decepticons win, Optimus goes into hiding, and Rodimus takes over. Primus reboots the dormant last autobot and gives him the task to find Optimus and save Cybertron from destruction.

That would be pretty cool, but I'm betting it's more likely to be Alpha Trion in the trailer.
Anyway, love this pic. Almost nobody knows who the Last Autobot is (the Marvel comic was never very mainstream and most of those who did read it have forgotten it by now). I always thought he looked a bit clunky in the comic (it's almost as if the comic guys just made him up

I was hesitant to fave this since the bot's only in the Marvel comics, but I thought to myself: "C'mon - he's got the Autobot symbol as his face!" And so I faved it.

I remember the comic I first saw him,Optimus Prime was dead (again?) and the powermaster (IQ?) had all of Primes memories...the last Autobot just zapped IQ and basicly remade Prime from IQ....

If you look at G1 soundwave and how all the most recent comic artists have been handling him... He LOOKS like the decepticon Symbol :3
