The morning after the drowning of his mate, Morpheus finally comes to terms that he'll never see her again...with a heavy heart, and one last look behind him, he starts on his new journey, alone.--
I really wanted to draw a scene from Morpheus's past. There is something about this picture that is just off to me, I just can't pin-point what though. Ah well, maybe if I find something I need to change than I'll edit it later. Though I do know the background really needs work, I don't know how to make it any better lol

Wow, what a moving piece; even though we can't see Morpheus's face, his body language and the vibes coming from him are utterly heartbreaking. Your backgrounds are so detailed and so eye catching; the trees on the hillside, the broken ice in the lake, the shading on the snow... it's just incredible. I truly love your work.
