DukeWaxeye asked me to make him a scarf. I told him that if supplied the yarn that I would. Here is the result.
I narrowed down several patterns and had him choose from them. He chose www.fiberfluxblog.com/2016/05/β¦
I used the entire yarn ball doing this. It was over about a month of work, not working every day, and not for very long periods of time.
It's made from "Fiddlesticks" knitting yarn, anti-pilling, "Superb 8", and I started with 100g/250m of it. It's apparently "DK Weight" and is machine washable, acrylic, and not safe to iron. It's made in Turkey. www.texyarns.com
It's around 65 inches long, give or take for the stretch. It's very soft. I'm pretty proud of it. I hope he stays warm.
