What project are ye working on this month?
A nice motivational phrase by Emma Congdon of Stitchrovia www.etsy.com/shop/Stitchrovia

Have ye stitched a project by this designer before?
Yes I have!
Would ye buy/stitch a design by this designer again? Why/Why not?
Yes! I love her typography skills and am so envious. It's part of what's driven me to wanting to learn it myself. There's actually two more by her sitting on my desk to do right now.

What made ye choose this particular design/designer?
This design was grabbed from the pile because I've been heavily associating with the sentiment, especially this past year (from June 2019 on). When I started my alterations shop I felt this phrase but as I went on I was full of doubt and self loathing: how could something that defined me so heavily be so antithetical to my desire to wake up in the morning? Of course now I know it wasn't the sewing and thread that led me to such misery, and I can go back to holding my artwork in high esteem.
Did ye notice anything that distinguished this designer from others?
As with the previous pattern I did from Stitchrovia I'm so inspired by how well she commands the structure of the piece. In my own practice with word art I find making anything curve or go places to be very difficult and unstructured; curves don't flow nicely enough, adding elements makes it look messy, and I'm just not sure where to go with it. I hope one day I can be as skilled as her.
