My secret halloween for Yinfeng is such a beautyThat hairstyle and lovely patterns. Her color pallete was fun to work with. I was thinking what kind of background fits, and I hard a hard time picking patterns or objects so I did both lol.
I adding chinese themed elements, I thought it fits her.
The composition is something I wanted to try out. I haven't drawn much whole bodies. I hope you like it! Sorry that I kept you in suspence, because I didn't know when to upload on 31th. Timezones orz

Hey, what does improving in procrastination speed mean?
Most time it feels like I play safe with colors, not going too crazy or something.
There was more blue on her clothing, but I toned it down with red so only
certain parts stand out. Mini details ftw /o/

honestly-?? i so can- /D cause yes style changes but your faces don't really changeee espc the 3/4 or side views- the 'pretty face and pretty long nose' thing are kinda your thing- plus the 'did i leave the stove on expression' ' soooooooooo- still saying the same-xxx-syndrome /D <3 better improve in that turtlee you can do itttt <3

I used to draw small noses and it depends on the view because not all are 3/4 o0o
Should I draw unproportional faces? I wonder how far I should go with variety as my style would turn unrecognizable. She looks seducing while my previous piece the characters looks serious. I plan to draw comics to practise expressions later _(: D

I've been into watercolors lately, although the effect is hard to create digitally.
It sorta worked as it did remind you of watercolors xD I wanted to go for something
simple, but it isn't as simple as it looks. Lining those roses and house orz

I often put characters into scenery or fill out a whole canvas.
Drawing a whole body in normal perspective is like a fresh breath.

the little patterns that you put into the clothes, both inside and out.
on her right sleeve, it seems like the patterns seems to go out of the clothes, like floating patterns, which kinda complements her hand tattoos. but idk if that was intentional or not xd.
and how you used red in your shading, even though the clothes were blue. It guess it kinda made me focus more on the red, since it's so contrasting to the blue. the red and the blue together complements the purple shading you used on the buildings and her skin. tbh, this whole painting gives me a more purple feeling (WHICH I LOVE), than a blue one that seemingly dominates the whole picture(if that makes sense xd)

Thank you so so much, for this extremely beautiful piece of Yinfeng... the abstract background puts her in such a unique environment that I have never seen anyone else do with her. The pastel colors and the vibrant ones of her clothe contrast so nicely against each other, I am in awe of your pallete, as always.
I don't deserve such a masterpiece!!
Ahhh I'll have to thank my lucky stars that I got you as my SH, you are one of my favorite artists for a long time now and I never thought I'd receive a piece from you ever. ;^; And thank YOU FOR DRAWING ME SOMETHING THIS AMAZING, I will surely treasure it forever.
