Excellent stuff! How is that the Sharpie doesn't bleed on your paper or canvas-based work? Be awesome to see this kind of work on a Ducati or a Buell!

This is very cool. Been looking through your stuff, and I love a lot of what I see. Does the Sharpie actually stay on? I noticed you said you put a clear coat over it to help preserve it, but is it good to go after that?

I noticed you said "the right kind"....Could you be more specific? I was thinking of attempting something similar, though on a much smaller scale than what you tend to do. I've experimented with different markers on various surfaces, from Krink to Sharpie, and I've found that the kind that can be the longest lasting, even through cleaning, is an old-fashioned Sharpie magnum with xylene in it. I've found Krink to be very long-lasting outdoors, through weather and everything, so long as there isn't any attempted cleaning. However, I would probably prefer working with Sharpies if they are just as long-lasting, as they would be much more controlled and less drippy. So, any recommendations you could throw my way would be appreciated.
