Beautiful shot, I love the cold blue tones and the general composition. I think sharper focus would have been great here, it would have defined the trees more and given more texture to the snow. A little more brightness would improve this also. Though overall this is pleasing to the eyes.

thanks. i feel the same way about the clarity, but im starting to wonder if my lens is wacked, everything i shoot is just a little bit fuzzy like this. I feel liek a 20D should perform better.

thank! i really feel this is one of my best single frame no edit landscapes.
ive determine in about f8-f11 my lens is sharpest, low tripod heights, basically dont pull them out show a lot more foreground, and in at really short focal lengths show enough distance and closeness.
though i wish i had a 5D and an L series lens, they just seem SOOO damn clear.

I've determined that f8 and higher exposes how dirty my camera is! lol....
Yeah I know what you mean about upgrading the tools though, always wanting to upgrade and get better stuff is every photographers desire.
