Halloween is just around the corner (aka tomorrow), so I figured Cervantes de Leon from Namco's SoulEdge/Blade/Calibur who just so happen to be a pirate AND an undead is a good subject. I was really drawn to his character when I first fought him in Soul Edge arcade. It was not because he was a pirate or whatever, it was his stance, it was so imposing. I'm glad that even in the other Soul games that succeeded Edge, Cervantes kept his stance. While he's not the largest character in the game, he just seems to stretch across the screen, making him look really scary. I really resented the fact that he lost the Soul Edge and had to settle with fighting using little Soul Edge shards instead. He stands as my #1 favorite fighting game character of all time from ANY series so it's almost blasphemous that this is my first and only fanart I've done of the ol' scurvy dog, I'll hopefully do more in the future.
