While it'll be a bit until I have the next part of the comic ready for uploading, I figured it's about time I released this.

First off, yes, I decided to retcon earlier drawings I did of Elias in this comic series and gave him a tail similar to Sally's. It's just something that happened while I was trying to come up with a design for him and it stuck.

I also included Alexis. In the Archie comics, Alexis was originally the daughter of Elias and Meg, but then it was retconned so that she was the daughter of Meg and her previous husband while Elias adopted her as his step daughter. Here, we're going with that she's his step daughter for convenience's sake as that's what most people know her as. When it comes to her design, I decided to keep it similar to how we saw her as a baby since we never got any comics of her as a teen or adult even in the future arcs. Her color scheme went all over the place depending on who was the color artist for the issue, with her taking either Elias's colors or Meg's. Here I went with Meg's, and I decided to have her bangs and hair stay the same as the rest of her fur, figuring that it could be seen as a trait she got from her birth father.

Meg's here too but I gave her the outfit she was sometimes wearing in the comics when not in a royal dress. Nothing too much has chanced here except that she's older just as Elias and Alexis are.

Finally, you're probably wondering who Fred is. Well, he's an OC and fan kid of mine. It never really made sense to me on why they didn't let Elias and Meg have any other kids, especially since they were always told that Alexis wasn't considered as an heir due to not being Elias's kid and King Max at the time was always getting written as the type of king way too concerned about traditions and heirs. Heck, even in comics where we saw the future of Mobius we never really saw any of them as it was always focused on Sonic, Sally and the other Freedom Fighters. This is where Fred comes in, named after one of Elias and Sally's ancestors. He's younger than Alexis in the comic, closer to Nicky's age actually, and he's gained traits from both of his parents, such as Elias's fur colors, his mom's hair colors, and a mix of both their tails. I'd have to describe him as an adventurous boy, being brought up by parents like his and living a life on the road.

Speaking of, during the time skip and the events of the second volume of Chaos Sonic Comic, Elias's given up his title as king, figuring Sally would be a better fit to lead the kingdom. He's since decided to distance himself from politics, something he was shown to not enjoy during the Archie Comics, and live his life with his family as they travel the world, although he does stop by Mobotropolis to check in with his family and friends from time to time. Alexis and Fred don't mind the constant travel as the two are able to experience thing most kids wouldn't be able to if they stayed in one place, and they were assured by their parents that if either felt like they were tired of this lifestyle, they would find a way to give them a more stable life. Being on the road and as members of a royal family however has it's consequences. Unsure of what might happen as they're always on the move, Elias has taken to teaching both of his kids how to properly defend themselves and others should the need arise. Both Acorns are equipped with gold wrist rings that work similar to how Sally's worked in the reboot.
