Oui Hauteluce reste un très joli coin avec encore ce qu'il faut de montagne sauvage.

first: The location, French Alps, the Hauteluce Valley around 1600 m Height.
second: The focus, i would answer: why not ? The result is not so bad. And honestly, when I shoot, I don't remind there are controls, focus... I am absorbed, obsessed by the scene

Sad face? Why?! It is a wonderful, wonderful shot. I too am often absorbed by the scene and find automated modal 'guessing' exposure a convenience. But when shooting the immovables (scenic valleys etc.) why not take a few minutes and see if shooting into the sun at smaller aperture might resolve nearness to infinity a bit sharper (and perhaps avoid doubling on glare). There is a second solar halo below the sun. Here it is actually interesting, for in my mind it created an illusion of a second distant giant sun from an extraterrestrial environment. At F.22 you may have avoided that. . Was not a critique, only a suggestion. Food for thought. Just the kind of thing Confucious would appreciate. (He is one of my favorites).
