I am just absolutely tickled--yes, TICKLED--at how this turned out. I would've NEVER been able to accomplish this sort of effect with my inking pens. *huggles the ballpoint pen* let us get married, my sweet...er...*cough*

Half demon and half child, Adlai was inspired from a line in a Kipling poem called "The Burden of White Man," if I remember correctly. I loved the poem, and this image stuck in my head. Thus, I brought it to fruition. I like what stands out on the picture and what doesn't. He's got two wings. I have never been so content with a picture (I'll admit, I've got some minor sticking points I could complain on, but for once, they aren't so irritating that they outweigh the good). ^_____________^ Yeah, I'm just too happy to come up with a proper description. Or perhaps it the ballpoint pen fumes. That's it. I do my best work in the presence of fumes.
