It's kinda strange how much Eggman's design has changed over the years while Bowser has stayed pretty much the same.

You're actually right the more I think about it! :,0 Bowser's design capped out pretty early on while Eggman between the tv shows and games has went through quite a few drastically different looks

Well actually now that you mention cartoons, Bowser did have a fairly different design in the Super Mario Bros Super Show but that's about it; the third mario game got his look down pat!
