It seems that a few papery partners of mine have gotten themselves in a pickle in this strange looking room.

Hokey doesn't seem to mind the situation, but someone else has other ideas on his mind...

This is basically parodyfilled mess of Paper Mario and DDR Mario Mix schenanigans I put together for a school animation project, where we were allowed to do basically ANYTHING in Aftereffects as long as we used a variety of effects and techniques So I revived a few of my paper fan characters and decided to have some fun

While I'm REALLY happy with the result of the whole thing, I wish that I hadn't had to cram to get it finished in two days. xD;; I literally just got the thing rendered a half hour ago a;slkfnasd;f

at the same time this project forced me to get around to something I've wanted to do for a LOOOONG time, which was animate something Paper Mario styled in After Effects. Ever since I first tried the program there were so many functions that I thought were absolute perFECT for that series' art style :,D And it's really cool seeing some of these guys come to life.
They're a liiittle bit speedy to fit in time with the music, but now that I know this actually works I'd love to try making some faux gameplay for Fortune of Fear somewhere down the line

knowing me it'll probably take another year before I even get around to that

The song that I used had to be cropped in some places to fit the 1 minute time limit for the project, so if you wonder why it sounds a little different- that's why
