This is sooo cute! Though Roxie looks a little pouty because of not getting the candy.

Thank you! Yes, she was very pouty-she loves peanut butter and could smell Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs and she tried so hard to get at those baskets but she was just too short!

Poor puppy. Yet my Rat Terrier would do the same thing.
But she is not quite so short. Roxie has a great personality.

Why thank you. Right now though she is scared because of the heavy rain.
Rain to her means thunder.

Roxie doesn't mind thunder but I have a Pomeranian who is a puppy mill rescue that is terrified of lightning and thunder.

Well thank you for rescuing the little darling.
What do you do to try and calm the Pom down? I
use diamatap (sp) and it is either 1/2 or a whole
pill depending on how fast I catch her before Maya
starts shaking.

I actually have not tried anything yet so I may have to try your idea! Usually I sit next to him and talk to him and he seems to be getting a little better with the thunder but he really hates the lightening!

If the storm is not too bad. I have been able to forego the pills.
I can hold her very tight and close to me. Only my breathing and arms
are used to calm her. But if it is a rather noisy storm, it is very hard.
She runs and hides, usually under my mom's bed.
We are about to have another thunderstorm in a few. I have been hearing the rumbles
for about half an hour now. She must have been hearing them much longer than I have.
I had to carry her to the door so I could get her to go out before the rains come.
So much work but I love my little Maya anyway.

We had a terrible thunder/lightning/hail storm last night and Teddy was hiding before I ever heard anything! And I know how you feel....as much work as Teddy is I wouldn't trade him for anything!
