This is a flag in a timeline where Holy Roman Empire have been restablished during the congress of Vienna and later controlled by the House of Hohenzollern, in a similar way as in OTL Prussia defeated Austria and taked control of the other German states. The Black-white-gold tricolor is a compromise between the colors of the old banner of the Empire and the Prussian colors while the coat of arms has the Imperial crown as a symbol of legitimacy.
