      are a kind of Japanese youkai that devour dreams and nightmares. The Japanese term baku has two current meanings, the traditional dream-devouring creature and to the zoological tapir. It is sometimes described as a chimera-like creature, with the body of a bear, an elephant's trunk, rhinoceros eyes, an ox tail, and tiger paws. They are generally considered benevolent creatures, but since they can also eat pleasant dreams besides nightmares, there's a dark side to them.

2. Amefurikozou (雨降り小僧) | Taken by : helmsless
       it wears a Japanese umbrella with its central pole missing, and it is depicted possessing a paper lantern. According to yōkai literature published after the Showa and Heisei eras, there are the theories that if you steal the umbrella from him and wear it, one would not be able to take it off, and the theory that they make it shower and delight at seeing people get troubled. According to the explanation at Mizuki Shigeru Road in Sakaiminato, Tottori Prefecture, the amefurikozō would be the one with the role of adjusting rain, something that is greatly related to the work and life of all living things.

3. Kasha (火車) | Taken by : helmsless
        are a yōkai that would steal corpses from funerals and cemeteries, and what exactly they are is not firmly set, and there are examples all throughout the country. In many cases their true identity is actually a cat yōkai, and it is also said that cats that grow old would turn into this yōkai, and that their true identity is actually a nekomata.
