it's sort of almost getting close to halloween... i'm so excited that i decided to do this. i mean, when you think about it, the holiday is rooted in some pretty strange beliefs, right?
anyway, i wanted to try my hand at doing a kind of storybook illustration thing, from a 16th century puritanical perspective. it's pretty scary to consider both the people in these pictures could be entirely innocent...
can't a girl just hang out in a wheat field in the middle of the night with her goat without immediately being called a witch? jeez.
