This is a drawing I did of Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance during Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge era. I did this drawing my senior year of high school of 2011. I'm pretty proud of this drawing, it turned out fan-fricken-tastic in my opinion and it won peoples choice at my school art show that's held at the end of the year. What can I say? Gerard is very inspiring!!!

(The trick was not making him look like a girl! (sorry Gerard!) Stupid teacher thought he was a girl...)

The title was inspired by their song Cemertary Drive where he sings the lyric "When will I miss you?" I liked how you could take the lyric two different ways 1) when will I miss you 2) (When will) I miss you. If you take out the parenthacies I added in the title it would be read two different ways, thus having two different meanings.

The roses are because I had to have a nature aspect to it (and he was holding rose pedals in my resource pic) and the skull blended onto his face is (because I had to have "nature" on the face of the person) and an homage to the concert they played during the Black Parade with the skeletons painted onto their faces for the Halloween show at the House of Blues. And finally a red frame looks way more badass than a black one with the roses and three cheers in mind.
