It's a coincidence how both his and MY name is Meara, except I'm a girl and he's a guy. I guess Meara is a gender neutral name.

Oh so pretty! He'd get along with my character Orios. He's the young God of Destiny in my stories. (The youngest God until far later, when there are some others born) ... Orios is a sweetie, but quite shy xD

Orios was born because the evil god Orandis took a goddess against her will; as such, he was unwanted and the rest of the Pantheon wanted to destroy him completely. Kraeos (The Pantheon Leader) wouldn't have it and took Orios in as his own son and raised and trained him. The Pantheon's hatred of him only increased when he found his element; Destiny. The very same element his evil sire had had before he betrayed them.
Orios grew up to be nothing like his father; a gentle soul who was good and kind. Kraeos loves Orios as if he was his own son which makes it hit the god of freedom HARD when Orios ends up inheriting the corrupted touch his father had. Orandis had this black tarlike substance that would drip from his fingertips - the slightest touch would make a god fall to the Mortal realm suffer and die like a sick Mortal. Thing is, Orandis wasn't effected by this corrupted touch because he embraced it. Orios... did not; and it nearly killed him. Kraeos managed to save him, but it was a very rough time for the older god; and resulted in him snapping off BAD at some of the other Gods in the Pantheon. When they saw how much he actually cared about Orios, they started to respect the youngest god more; especially when Orios began to become very useful in the Pantheon. He does a brilliant job at his job.
Though Orios is a bit of a loner, he generally spends most of his time in his personal chambers, locked away hard at work.
