acrylic on a round canvas, about 50cm in diameter.

inspired by the story of Hades falling in love with Persephone, which i think can be seen immensely romantic, i just had to do this painting on my single round canvas.
i tried to do something of a yin-yang effect, offsetting Hades´ darkness with Persephone´s inherent light.
This in turn led to try a slightly asian/manga style for the characters (and the cherry blossoms
Being an old man, i tend to fail utterly in the photo/computer department, for i wanted to circular cut out the pic...
alas, as it was not to be, i just photographed it on a dark underground to present it...
so i hope you like it.
