Description Clary Fray, from the Mortal Instruments.
I've just started City of Glass, excited!! (Oh and yeah that's sort of supposed to be the traveling cloak Luke gives her.)

So yeah, I told you guys I just got colored pencils, and I loveeeee using them. I want to color everything. Everything! But I refrain.

So, and for the first time-ish using the medium, I think I did pretty well. Could be a lot worse. Oh but god the skin color she looks sick please help me.
But there's no where to go but up!

Oh, thanks!
I use mostly Prismacolor. Pricey, but definitely worth the cost.

I have some Derwents, but they aren't nearly as nice as the ones my mum used 35 years ago different formula or somethin'. They are too waxy. Yours look great!

Oooh, I aboslutely LOVE the mortal instruments! Have you read the infernal devices as well? And I love your colouring!

Not yet! I have so many books on hold right now. I'm going to finish up City of Glass then CoFA, have Mortal Instruments done, then I have the new John Green book I've been dying to read, don't know if you know him, he's amazing, plus the rest of the Percy Jackson series, read the first one. I probably wont read them all in order. But bottom line I'm going to take a small break and the start Infernal Devices. Excited! Sorry for the long explanation hahaha.

Oh, and thank you! I've fallen in love with colored pencils!

I know John Green and I like him very much! Though I haven't read so much by him
no problem, I like long explanations ^^ I really recommend the Infernal Devices, I love them I think even more then the Mortal Instruments!
Me too, I love colouring with pencils, but I'm not as good as you! My respect
